Short Listed For A Latin Grammy

1/22/2015 - Category: music, outperformance, grammys,

I seriously studied latin music in my early 20s. I transcribed hundred of albums and got mentored by the top specialists for latin music in Europe and Cuba.

That's how I ended up on stage with one of the most famous salsa band, Bamboleo, at 21 years old in Cuba.

A few years later, I got a call from legendary and Grammy nominated cuban violin player Alfredo De La Fe to help him producing a song for his new album "Sin Limites". The singer for this tune called "Bad Girl" was another Grammy nominated artist Raheem DeVaughn.

The album got short listed for a Latin Grammy in the "Best Contemporary Tropical Album" category.
